Very belatedly, I’m interested in coordinating a panel around colonialism, environment (and/or conservation), and race. I’m hoping to share something on race and gender as they shaped conservation work and environmental writing in late-colonial Northern Rhodesia (Zambia). But anything that shared a colonial environmental angle, dealt with late colonialism more generally, or is concerned with race in modern colonial contexts could fit nicely.

Hello. A late post to see if anyone has interest in forming a panel around British businesses operating in colonial/post-colonial markets. My own paper would have a health theme with a focus on C20th India. Also interested in ambiguity, failure, compromise in that context.
