Dear colleagues,

I'm a PhD candidate at Rutgers writing a dissertation on a group of firms across colonial Asia who remained in the opium business after prohibition in the early twentieth century. I'd be thrilled to form a panel -- or join one that's already forming -- on capitalism, corporations, etc., or alternatively on the Asian empire.

I'd welcome geographic and chronological diversity, with a more coherent concept for our panel proposal materializing as participants emerge.
