Announcing a new fellowship opportunity
We are thrilled to announce the launch of a new collaborative fellowship with the IU Indianapolis Arts and Humanities Institute (IAHI). The IAHI-NACBS Visiting Research Fellowship supports access to resources for scholars working on projects that bring together aspects of British Studies and Environmental Studies. The fellowship will provide successful applicants with affiliation and library privileges at the IAHI.
In addition to scholarly community, fellows will benefit from:
Library privileges at IAHI, including access to extensive online resources. A full list of available resources can be found here.
Access to IAHI and NACBS workshops and events
NACBS membership for the duration of the fellowship period
Comped registration for the 2026 NACBS annual meeting (for graduate students and ECRs, limited financial support for travel will be available)
Eligibility
Open to scholars at any phase of their career, including graduate students, recent graduates and postdocs, early career scholars, as well as established scholars who can demonstrate a need for access to specific resources
Applicants must demonstrate a need for access to particular resources available through IAHI
Fellows may be local or non-resident, but no funding is available to support moving or living expenses. The primary purpose of the fellowship is to provide access to resources, an affiliation, and a scholarly community.
