Help us reach our goal!
As many of you know, we are currently in the midst of a year-long giving campaign to celebrate our 75th anniversary. We want to express our gratitude to everyone who has supported us so far. Thanks to your generosity, we've made great progress, but we aren't there yet! Our 75th Anniversary Campaign will conclude at our upcoming meeting in Montreal, and we hope you can help us to finish strong. The NACBS has been supporting research and scholarship in British Studies for 75 years, and we have no intention of slowing down.
Help us finish strong!

We are almost halfway to our goal of raising $25,000 and we hope you will help us to reach the finish line. If you haven't had a chance to give yet, we hope you will consider making a donation.
Your Contribution Matters
This year-long campaign is raising money to support our Dissertation Fellowship and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Fellowship programs. All contributions will go towards these fellowship programs.
Recipients of our 2025-2026 fellowships will be announced at our upcoming awards ceremony, which will take place this year virtually on November 5. Before we celebrate a new cohort of scholars, we hope you will take a moment to read more about the exciting work being done by our current 2024-2025 fellows. These programs are vital to the continued vibrancy of British Studies. By contributing to our 75th giving campaign, you will be directly supporting the next generation of scholars.
We appreciate your support!
We are so grateful to everyone who has contributed to the campaign so far. In addition to our website, donors will also be recognized in our conference program. We understand that support comes in many forms, and we're thankful not only for the financial contributions, but also for the time and energy that many have contributed to our efforts. Thank you!
Celebrating 75
As part of this important anniversary, we have been taking time throughout the year to reflect on our organization's journey. The NACBS looks very different today than it did at its founding, with broader membership, six regional affiliates, and a range of fellowships, grants, and prizes. Though much has changed over the past 75 years, our commitment to supporting excellent scholarship has remained at our core. Take a look at some of the reflections we've shared so far, and keep an eye out for more as we continue celebrating through the end of the year.

This Journal of British Studies special collection was curated, with help from members, to celebrate the breadth of scholarship the NACBS has fostered. All 30 articles included in the collection have been made open-access and are available to read at the included links with a brief introduction by JBS editors Nadja Durbach and Tammy Proctor.
The NACBS blog, Broadsides, is running a series that features the histories of our regional affiliates. You can check out the first three pieces below, and stay tuned for more in the series.

Marking 75 years also serves as a timely reminder to think about preserving NACBS history. To that end, we have collected a variety of archives related to our history on our website. You can now find links to the British Studies Intelligencer Archive, the British Studies Monitor Archive, the H-Albion Archive, and information about the NACBS archives housed at GWU here at the bottom of our "About" page. Sharing information about these resources, and making them easily accessible, is an important part of documenting our history. The NACBS wants to express our sincerest thanks to Jason Kelly for his monumental work in making the Monitor, Intelligencer, and H-Albion archives available online.
Celebrate 75 years with a contribution
