Virtual Day! NACBS 2026

The virtual component of our 2026 annual meeting will take place on Wednesday, November 4. This virtual day was organized as a way to make our conference more accessible to those who are unable to travel to the in-person meeting for a variety of reasons.

The virtual sessions are open for all conference registrants to attend. In solidarity with the members of our community who cannot travel to Pasadena, we encourage all conference participants to attend the virtual sessions that will take place on Wednesday.

Important Information for Virtual Meeting Rooms

The most current draft version of the program can be found here, on the conference homepage. Please note, the pdf and draft program will not include virtual session links. A separate virtual schedule with session links will be available on a password-protected page. If you are registered to attend the annual meeting (whether in-person or online) you should have received an email with the information for the webpage and password. If you did not, please contact digital@nacbs.org.

Open Events

There are two events scheduled during our virtual programming that are open for all to attend. You do not need to be registered for the annual meeting in order to attend the Awards Ceremony or the JBS Info Session. Information for these events is included here.

Awards Ceremony – 12pm ET

NACBS will once again host its award ceremony online. We hope that you will join us to celebrate our 2026 award winners! Tune in to hear our prize and fellowship announcements and congratulate the winners. RSVP here to attend.  

Information Session: JBS Editorship – 1:30pm ET

In 2027, NACBS will conduct a search for the next editors of the JBS, to begin a five-year term in July 2028. This information session is intended to help interested parties learn more about what the role requires and how they might put together an editorial team and application. RSVP here to attend.
