NACBS 2026 Virtual Day
The NACBS will once again host a day of virtual programming in order to accommodate conference participants who are unable to travel to Pasadena for the in-person event. The virtual component of the annual conference will consist of panels, roundtables, and other sessions over Zoom, following the same format as our in-person meeting. Our awards ceremony will also be held online, as part of our virtual programming.
Â
The virtual day of programming will take place the week prior to the annual meeting, on November 4.
Â
Those wishing to participate in the virtual event should submit a proposal through the regular annual meeting call for papers submission portal. We will accept both panel and individual paper proposals, and proposals will be evaluated through the same process as the in-person event. When submitting your proposal through the CFP portal, you will be asked whether you are applying to the in-person or the virtual schedule, and you must choose one of these options.
Â
Space on the virtual program will be limited. Access to the virtual programming will be included in the registration fee for the in-person event. A reduced registration fee will be required of those presenting at the virtual event, or wishing to participate in it without attending the in-person event.
You can view the program for last year's virtual day in the NACBS 2025 program (page 12).
